Part 11, subdivision 2 of the Australian Securities and Investments Commission Act 2001 sets out the rules relating to hearings by the disciplinary board, including the Board’s power to summon witnesses and take evidence, the way in which hearings proceed, contempt, the protection of Board Members, the fact they are held to be judicial rather than merely administrative proceedings and costs.
