Part 3, subdivision 7 of the Australian Securities and Investments Commission Act 2001 outlines various offences that apply to the contravention of the Act’s provisions, including failure to comply with obligations under Part 3 of the Act, providing false information, obstructing an investigation, contempt of the ASIC and concealing materials.
